OHS Administrator

We currently have an exciting opportunity at our Corporate Office for an experienced and motivated OHS Administrator.

The Opportunity:

As the OHS Administrator you will report to the Principal – Health & Safety and will be responsible for administration and maintenance of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) systems, databases and documentation.

Key responsibilities of your role include:

Compiling Company OHS monthly reports.
Compiling Company statistical reports for Executive Management.
Collate and enter data into the relevant Company databases and systems.
Proactive involvement with continuous OHS improvement processes.
Provide continuous support to the OHS team in all administrative matters.
Review in conjunction with the members of the OHS team, all documentation relating to Company OHS and Training and update as required.
Manage the Company Document Library process in conjunction with the document controller.

What we are looking for:

Recognised qualifications in Business Administration, Safety or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in an administration role preferably within the mining industry.
Knowledge of safety programs and recognised safety management systems.
Understanding of mining and mineral processing operations would be highly advantageous.
Experience using INX modules and applications across a mining company.
Strong computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems and Microsoft office suite.
Professional and demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to positively influence others.
A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised and display good problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills.
Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
